Not again?!?

I started blogging back in March of 2003. Part of my need to do so was to find a way to be honest about what I was feeling and believing about the US rush to war in Iraq, without having to do so every day in my classes.

For instance, I wrote this on the 16 of March in 2003:

And now, nearly a quarter of a century later, here we are again with the US waging war in the middle east.

I cannot find anything in what our current president has said that makes sense of this for me.

Indeed, it seems that we might have been very close to an agreement with Iran when the very next day the US started massive bombing in concert with Israel.

When will we learn? As is often said, history may not repeat but it often rhymes. And I am sick of the rhyming.

We must stop this. We must change.
