This parody/cover of the Taylor Swift song “Shake it off” was released yesterday. The sheer joy of the piece makes me happy!

The original one worried me a bit, for all of the reasons noted here (which have to do with cultural appropriation), but I can’t resist sharing the 80 year old version. So, in effort to balance what I’m spreading here, let me also share this piece on what’s wrong with cultural appropriation:
