American refugees

I’ve been thinking lately about how to help people who are seeking to communicate about challenges facing the whole community, use storytelling to do so. I remain deeply impressed by the American Refugees Project at Seattle University, which has joined together with some fabulous animators to create a set of short films to highlight the stories of real families living through homelessness. Here’s one story they’ve put up, entitled “the Smiths.”
