Rachel Botsman’s TEDGlobal talk is fascinating: it depicts ways in which digital tech is allowing for more and more “collaborative consumption.”
For instance, quoting a Pew report, she notes that “an active facebook user is three times as likely as a noninternet user to believe that most people are trustworthy … virtual trust will transform the way we trust people face to face” (9:05)
