Reflecting theologically on a commercial

I often remind my students that some of our most creative artists are employed in advertising. That fact doesn’t make me happy — I wish that we had better ways of supporting them! — but it does mean that short commercials can be fabulous for doing theological reflection. Here’s an exercise I developed using Patricia O’Connell Killen’s ideas. And here’s a commercial to try it out on:
