Resisting terror and racial profiling
I think one of the more painful legacies of 9/11 has been the way in which we’ve turned into a national security state which has used the excuse of fighting terror to put in place an ever increasing level of checkpoints, legislation and other mechanisms that have a disproportionately negative effect on communities of color. Here’s a brief video that tries to engage these issues by telling some compelling personal stories:
