Millennials, justice and church
Here’s an interesting study that explores the views of a group of Millennials (18-29 year olds) around their distinctive — because rare — commitment to staying involved with church. I think one of the more striking findings was this: “both straight and gay respondents described LGBT rights as being ‘a symbolic defining issue for their politics and a primary lens through which they evaluate religious institutions.’” Which in this study meant that young adults who stayed active in churches had found churches which shared their beliefs.
