What are we doing?!?

I read this article this morning, and found myself moved to tears. It’s a thoughtful reflection by Jeanne Theoharris, a professor in New York City, about a former student of hers who was arrested on charges of aiding terrorists. Read the whole article. Then ask yourself, what are we doing in this country? What happened to due process? to civil rights? to constitutional protections? My heart breaks…
