Republicans overreaching again in Wisconsin

Here’s a new tactic on the part of the Republicans in Wisconsin that I hope will alert yet another group of people to their naked overreach. In this case they are requesting through FOIA the emails of a professor at the University, a professor who had blogged about a specific problematic group (the American Legislative Exchange Council). It’s worth reading the whole post by Professor William Cronon (whom, I’m proud to say, I knew back when I was an undergraduate at Yale).
