German, Austrian and Swiss theologians publish open letter

Wow. On February 3rd a group of 143 German, Austrian and Swiss theologians published an open letter at suddeutsche.de directed to the Roman Catholic hierarchy and calling for specific reforms. I read it using google’s translation feature, which, while not elegant English, at least gave me a good sense of the power of their statement.
