Using Afghan women to sell the war

I had a visceral reaction to the recent cover of Time Magazine — and it WASN’T that I now want to support the war in Afghanistan. But I gather that many other people view that image and assume it’s justification for our presence there. Here’s an eloquent refutation of such a conclusion, for anyone who needs it.
