Reality falls into language

John Thatamanil is posting Facebook status updates from the second cohort of the TRP/CT Luce Seminar, and I’m captivated by his transcription of something Wendy Farley said (so, keep in mind that this is just about third hand at this point):

"There is a kind of reality that falls into language but it falls into language in Buddhism in a totally different way than in Christianity. There is something about reality that permits this kind of falling."

I think this remark is profound, and wish I could learn more of the underlying conversation in which it occurred!
