Child abuse crisis hits German church

So now the German Catholic church is having to confront its deliberate covering up of the abuse of children. They clearly learned nothing from the pain we’ve gone through in the US, and the evil which is church authorities protecting the institution rather than children, is present there, too. When will we ever learn?
