The tree at St. John’s

St. John’s University has given me a lot of joy this season, in admitting our son to next year’s freshman class. Alex is still trying to decide whether he’ll accept their offer (and he has until May to do so), but in the meantime St. John’s sends out occasional notes. Today’s included a link to a video at YouTube that answered the question of how they managed to get a 15x20 foot Christmas tree through a 10x8 foot door into their Great Hall. It made me smile very broadly (yet again), and helped to convey the kind of community St. John’s can be.
