Economic literacy

Hat tip to faithasawayoflife for pointing to this interview of economist Noreena Hertz. Anyone who’s been reading my blog for any length of time will know that periodically I yearn for broader economic literacy, and for an economic analysis that will take us beyond the tired left/right economics we’ve been stuck with for so long. I think this article convinces me I need to look for carefully at Hertz’ work as one possible option.
