Miguel Diaz as ambassador to the Vatican!

Wow! Apparently the White House is nominating Miguel Diaz as ambassador to the Vatican! Miguel is a colleague of mine, he’s on the theology faculty at St. John’s in Collegeville. I think he’s a great guy, and I think it’s a wonderful appointment on the president’s part.
