Pairing of “stimulus” with “pork”

/ 4 February 2009

538 has a great graph pointing out that “the unflattering term “pork” is now being used about four times more commonly in connection with the stimulus as it was two weeks ago — even though the underlying package has not substantially changed.”

This is an example of how the rest of us need to be engaged, and can't simply rely on mainstream media to get real information out. There are clearly forces of the status quo at work who are not interested in real change in a progressive direction.
