Angela Merkel wants the Pope to clarify

So I guess perhaps it’s just the US bishops who aren’t complaining publicly, because German Roman Catholic leaders are pretty upset. And even Angela Merkel — the German Chancellor — is calling on the Pope to clarify his stance on Holocaust deniers. (Hat tip to Andrew Sullivan)
