Roy Bourgeois to be excommunicated

I wonder what would happen if more priests were willing to face excommunication by standing with women as they were ordained? The Roman Catholic Church has so few priests to begin with, would the hierarchy finally have to repent? My mother-in-law was one of the Danube 7 ordained back in 2002, and frankly, I’ve encountered few priests with as broad and deep a training and experience as she has. When will Rome “get it”?
