Connection to the holy?

Slate has an interesting article up about a particular kind of renewal happening in certain segments of Catholic monasticism, that has to do with diving more deeply into the center of monasticism as a way into more congruent and holistic life. The choices this particular community is making are not ones I would make, but I feel some of the same desire for congruence. (hat tip to Bob)
