Today is Blog Action Day!

Today is Blog Action Day, a day when bloggers all over the world unite to work on one specific issue. This year’s issue is poverty, and the info site has a great post on 88 ways to take action against poverty now. Why not pick at least one? The Bible has a whole lot more to say about poverty, than about any of the other issues we tend to think of as “life” issues.

My own action today? Besides the ordinary, everyday work of trying to help people become pastoral leaders in communities committed to justice, I'm working on supporting Sen. Obama's candidacy. Today I'm handing out buttons that read "Micah 6:8/Obama 08."
