Houston still suffering

Adan notes that conditions are still not good in Houston, and further, points to an excellent analysis of the ways in which powerful energy lobbyists prevented strong measures that would have gone a long way to preventing the current inability to get electricity flowing. Sound familiar? I have to say that the Obama campaign’s refusal to accept money from powerful lobbyists is looking more and more prescient. If you have an extra $5 lying around, now would be a good time to chip it in. This is a major fight we have on our hands, and little bit counts.
