Facts vs. ???

In some of my discussions with people who would put themselves on the Republican end of the spectrum, we have come to dead ends because they and I disagree on what counts as “factual.” I don’t know what the way beyond that particular culdesac is, but here’s an essay that considers its origins early in this Bush’s era.
