Obama’s political/neighborhood context

Here’s a really interesting piece describing the neighborhood Obama lives in, and the political conversations there. We talk a lot at Luther about “reading the audience” (perhaps a bad phrase), by which we mean attending to the context in which churches live. So this is a good piece for understanding more of who Obama is.
