I’m a huge science fiction fan — especially of authors like Orson Scott Card, Sheri Tepper, Lois McMaster Bujold. One of the very first science fiction authors I read, though, was Arthur C. Clark, and he has just left this world for the next one. David Brin, notes some of what made Clarke so special.
