Better than free

/ 7 March 2008

Thanks to TheCorner for the link to this meditation on things that are “better than free” — meaning those things worth paying for, in terms of time, talent, treasure, and so on. The essay is worth reading in its entirety, the eight things he mentions are: immediacy, personalization, interpretation, authenticity, accessibility, embodiment, patronage and findability. Now: think about how, if at all, these things appear within religious community.
