President of W&M resigns

I have not been following this controversy, but it seems urgent to pay attention now. The President of William&Mary has been forced to resign — read his powerful letter here — and the case has clearly raised all sorts of issues concerning right wing pressure. I think those of us who care about academic integrity and higher education should think about these challenges.
