I’m the romantic?

I can’t resist: I just heard via an NPR report, that the Clinton campaign is essentially trying to cast Sen. Clinton’s supporters as “pragmatists” and Obama’s supporters as “romantics.” It bugs me that they are trying to belittle and trivialize the hope and energy that the Obama campaign is finding ways to generate — remember it’s a campaign, not just an individual. But anyway, if you or your family and friends are tempted to buy into that particular characterization, take 20 minutes and watch this very careful, dispassionate presentation by a constitutional law scholar noting the distinctions between Clinton and Obama. Of course, it IS Valentine’s Day, so maybe a little romance is appropriate?
