Here’s a shared tool where people are mapping incidents of violence in Kenya. It’s called “Ushahidi.com” and here’s a larger explanation of how it came to be. I first learned about it on the ShapingYouth blog, which has a really powerful essay about how some of these social networking tools are helping to teach people to think beyond themselves, and to be involved in transformative action.
