Today is the SIX YEAR anniversary of the first arrival of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. Meteor Blades has a powerful, substantive piece up at DailyKos about the issues.

The sheer evil of the situation shakes me to the core.

Today I am lifting this up in prayer at the academic meeting I'm currently attending, and trying to get people to sign the pledge at the ALCU site. If I were in Minneapolis I could stand vigil at noon.
