I'm Mary's eldest son. I'm just here to let you know that the photo of Mary next to her test comment (and the one of me next to this comment) is there as part of a plugin. It's a useful tool for identifying people across the internet, but most blogs don't have this kind of global avatar (Gravatar) support. So in most cases (and by default) the blog will simply show the text of the comment, and not the identification photo.
