Twin Cities “cool”?

The Wall Street Journal online notes that the Twin Cities has hit “critical coolness.” Hmmmm…. I have to wonder what the implications of this are for faith community, but I suspect that we’ve already been seeing some of this influx of young professionals in the energy and growth of places like Spirit Garage, Mercy Seat, and so on. There’s also talk of the Twin Cities being home to more “cultural creatives” than some other places. I don’t know. I don’t often feel that we have the same degree of energy that I remember from Boston, but perhaps there IS something unique and generative about cultural spaces here?
