Mass mobilization September 23

Ok, so I was wrong! I was just complaining that our local archdiocese was not doing enough against the war, and this morning I received an announcement from the Office of Social Justice of the archdiocese, calling for a mass mobilization on the steps of our statehouse on September 23rd at 1 pm. The announcement says “it’s time to transition out of Iraq” and asks people to gather on the south steps of the Statehouse (75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., St. Paul). I’ll be there — I hope YOU will be, too! (The event is co-sponsored by a bunch of local organizations, so we have the possibility of getting a LOT of people there.)
