Six degrees of separation?

I thought we had perhaps gotten through the I35W bride collapse without any personal connections, but it turns out that Garrett Ebling, fiance to one of the youth directors a pastor friend of mine works with, was one of the critically injured people. (His car is the red one in the water in this picture.) He’s currently in the hospital, hooked up to many machines, and facing several surgeries. As always, we need to be praying! But right now the whole event has taken on more immediacy for me again. Somehow the stories shared via CaringBridge make it far more real.
