ERA returns

One of my most enduring memories of my partner in life, Eric, is of the very first time I laid eyes on him — standing in line for freshman orientation our first year at Yale. He had a huge green ERA YES button on, and was the first guy I’d ever met who would wear such a thing. I didn’t actually start dating him until three years later, but that memory still makes me smile.
