Counting down…

We leave for Vienna this Wednesday morning, and I’m finally beginning to feel stressed. We’re doing our best to make sure that we have only two bags a piece, not one bigger than 62 inches total, or more than 50 pounds, but I’m still amazed at all of the stuff we’re taking. It’s not so much clothing, as it is a semester’s worth of textbooks (ninth grade and third grade level), and an entire suitcase of my own books for research. I wonder what the transportation security people will think? (smile)

I think we're actually more prepared than we might have been, but every time I get close to a big trip I tend to think about all of the catastrophic things that could happen. I keep reminding myself to breathe... God is walking with us, and I need to trust that just as I breathe in and breathe out, the Spirit breathes amongst us.
