So…. as the sun rises this morning it’s clear that at least we’ve created some change in Congress. Dems took the House, and MAYBE (I hope!) the Senate. Here in Minnesota the DFL regained control of the House (and retains contral of the State Senate). We still have a Republican governor, and Michele Bachman won her race. UGH. In both of those I think the poor quality of the DFL candidates played a major role.
Now we have to get to work on real change: ending the war in Iraq, a real energy policy, working on poverty issues and global climate change, and so on. I didn't have time to read this yesterday, but TheCorner did a wonderful job of linking to a progressive plan.
