Viacom forces DailyShow off YouTube
In case you haven’t noticed, Viacom has asked YouTube to remove all ComedyCentral content from its site. MediaShift blogs about it, with a lot of very useful related links and commentary. I’m completely bummed! I would never have gotten hooked on the DailyShow (which I download via iTunes), had I not been able to access it there. We don’t have cable, we will never have cable, and now I’m thinking of no longer subscribing to the DailyShow, just to protest this decision!
