Close biblical reading of a political speech

You know something’s a-changing when left-learning political weblogs do close reads of speeches for biblical content. Here’s an interesting take on Barack Obama’s convention speech by a member of the dailyKos community. I wish more my students would hone their hermeneutical skills on such texts!
