Dr. Suess bible

So, how’s this for a version of the bible? Or perhaps you prefer the Brick version? At the moment, our family is reading this version for Lent.

James G. Pepper commented on 01 April 2006:

For lent I have been working on my illuminated manuscript of the Bible which I have been makign in Dallas since 1987. Saint Johns knows about my work, I have coorespondence from them going back to 2001, but alas they have mislead the public to beleive they are the first in 500 years to do this. When they had their grand opeing of their bible in Minneapolis last year, the first bible to be made in 500 years, my bible had already been on display in a museum in Dallas. They are not content with the project they have, no they have to deny the works of faithful christians for 500 years, some of whom died for the work that they did. And Saint johns knows of other bibles, this is not a mistake, this is intentional!
My webpage has videos made by CBS and ABC on my work. You can google it at "The Pepper Bible"

"His Holiness prays that your work will help you to discover each day in the inspired writings of the Old and New Testaments "a support for faith, food for the soul and a pure and lasting fount of spiritual life" "He invokes upon you joy and peace in our Lord Jesus Christ." March 26, 2002, Vatican

In a letter from the Archbishop of York, 25 January 2001: "It is given to very few to undertake, or even contemplate, a labour of such Herculean proportions. It is given to fewer still to complete it. What you have done represents an achievement which, so far as His Grace is aware, is quite without parallel in modern times." "It is a powerful witness to the living God."
