USCCB at least stays the course

Well, at least I can still be proud of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops for continuing to support efforts to meet the needs of the poor. Unlike much of the right wing of the Christian community, the Catholic bishops actually fought against Bush’s budget, arguing that budgets are moral documents and this one didn’t meet the necessary needs of the poor.
