Theological education and the arts

Look what Fuller Seminary is up to at their Brehm Center. Among other things they’re sponsoring a conference with the Directors Guild of America on “Reel Spirituality” that will consider movies, reality, life, theology…. So how come we’re not finding a way to do something even more interesting here in the Twin Cities, where we have one of the most vibrant theater and experimental arts scenes in the country? Seems to me like Luther needs to wake up and engage the arts.
