Time brings more clarity

There has been a recent spate of articles clarifying earlier reports of criminal conduct during the early days post-hurricane in New Orleans. BodyandSoul has the best collection of links and commentary on these issues, and I urge you to read her entry. She gets straight to the heart of the issue — the ways in which systemic racism clouded everything, and made everything much worse.
