Australia: day eight

Well, here I am in the Melbourne airport, WAITING. Adán and I got here at 8:00 am (partly because of my anxiety about getting to airports early), for a flight scheduled to depart at 10:25 am. Of course, once we got up to the counter to check in, we learned that the flight was delayed. Over and over it’s been delayed so that the flight crew finally had to “change out” and now we’re delayed until 2:00 pm! It’s clear I’ll miss my connecting flight in LA, and they can’t fix that until I get there. Argh. Adán very graciously got me access to the Qantas airport lounge, so I finally have wifi access (at a hefty price). I’m hoping to finish my most urgent emails, and then at least my weblog posts published. It will help me pass the time!
