I’m drowning, but good news…
This week has been so crazy that I haven’t had a moment to catch my breath, let alone get the basic kinds of email responses and blogging done. So I’m drowning… but the really good news is that Luther’s Board has voted to grant me tenure. So it is now official! And I can breathe a rather large sigh of relief and get back to what I most care about, teaching and learning and living with faith in a world whose paradoxes and ambiguities demand it.

Jodi commented on 06 May 2005:Hooray, Mary! We haven't met, but I'm an MSM Luther grad (class of '01), I love your blog, and Brenda Froisland is a dear friend of mine, so I feel like I know you a little bit. It heartens me to know you'll be around, sharing your intellect, your heart and your integrity with the next generations of ELCA leadership. God bless!
Congratulations from a frequent blog visitor!
Congratulations Mary! I'm very happy for you. A great decision and affirmation by the faculty!
