Just hanging in there…

Today was a gloriously beautiful day, weather-wise. I think it almost got up to 60 degrees, which is pretty odd for Minnesota in early March. I managed to spend some time outside with the kids as they drew chalk pictures all over our front porch (it is seriously in need of repair and painting, so the pictures brightened it up a bit).

Today was also an important day at church, as members of our pastoral council shared a letter we had written in response to our Mission and Vision event a couple of weeks ago. We are going through a major transition with a new priest/pastor who has to spread himself between two parishes (ours, and St. Luke's down the street). As requested, I will put the letter here, but it should soon be up at our church's website, too.
