Conservative, MN?, blogs

I’ve been trying to read a few conservative, even right wing, blogs as a way to stay more informed. I started with Powerline, the blog that was at the heart of the controversy over the Dan Rather story. Then I picked up Captainsquarters, a conservative blog mentioned in another progressive one I read. Ok, so far, so good. But in a passing comment today I noticed that Captainsquarters is written by a local guy, as is Powerline, and is part of something called the “Northern Alliance” of conservative blogs — all written by Minnesotans. What a small world. I thought that I was expanding my data, only to find I’ve narrowed it even further. Sigh. If anyone knows what the conservative equivalent of CommonsDreams would be, I’d love to know!
