Civil liberties?!? Clearly not in America…

Sigh. According to a new poll that The Revealer brought to my attention, “nearly half of the land of the free thinks that Muslim Americans’ civil liberties should be restricted, with a stalwart 27% supporting the federal registration of all Muslim Americans.” This is so depressing! It would seem that decades of “high stakes high school standards” has led to an appalling ignorance on the part of Americans as to the very things that make us American. Or at least, those things (such as civil liberties) that I THOUGHT made us American.
