Truthandhope.org, an organization I first became familiar with from the comments section of the Dean for America campaign, is focused on providing advertising that will speak to conservatives. I’ve been fascinated by the themes they choose to work on, because it provides some insight into that mindset. I don’t know how effective this advertising is (ANY advertising is, for that matter), but if you’re interested in what a wholly grassroots organization, unaffiliated with any of the major parties is doing, you might take a look at the commercials they’ve created. They’ve also chosen to solicit funds to air them directly in relation to each spot. So you can ‘vote’ on which one to air by which one you contribute to.
