Voting machine animation

Thanks to Matt for pointing me off to the Boom Chicago voting machine animation. I laughed quite hard, but the underlying message is important — that we are at risk in this election season in the US of having voting machines that may not be accurate. The best way to ensure accuracy in electronic voting machines is to demand a paper trail. The Electronic Frontier Foundation has a great page of useful information up on the whole issue of e-voting. Voters in California should note that the state has ruled that you must be offered the opportunity to vote on a paper ballot — even though certain counties will not tell you that.
